ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) is the revenue generated per unit of currency spent on advertising.
Formula
ROAS = ad-attributed revenue ÷ ad spend
Why it matters
ROAS quickly compares advertising revenue with spend. It does not show profit on its own because product and other costs are excluded.
